This ‘ bacaro’ is well known for its special mozzarella cheese with ham or herring. It is said to be one of the best one in Venice. Also it is a classic meeting point for local people since they were children and the rite still has lived over the time.

Here you can find a lot of fried plates and also a kitchen service that offer tasty ‘ risotto’, hanmade pasta, and may typical dishes, all at affordable price and we are not far from Rialto Bridge.

It is not a completely true ’bacaro’ and the atmosphere is not typical. In fact it looks like more a turistic canteen with unlike furniture dated last years of 1980 and so the result is not in tune with the historical city of Venice.

At rush hours it is quite difficult to reach che counter desk and the tables at the ground floor are overcrowded therefore is better to move on the room on the first floor.

If you are in the area, you can have a break here so you can know better one of the most important cooking site of the city .
